Challenge! The Worst Song in History
May 22nd 2008 02:52
I feel I have crafted what may be the worst song in history, and I challenge all budding musicians to make their own suggestion or submission.
Here’s the link to my monsterpiece:
Worst Song in History
For the guitar buffs out there, it features:
Playing the ‘D’ shape up the neck on an acoustic guitar
The Dsus4 strum
A cheap and nasty Tool rip-off after the bridge
A descending semi-open picky thing on the 6th string at the 3rd, 2nd, 1st frets
Nasty bass guitar octaves
That bloody blues outro lick
And so much more!
Lyrics to The Worst Song in History
by Lord Waterfront Yuppie
I’ve got the blues down
In the New Orleans now
And I’m going insane
Take me away
Chorus:
DJ! Play her an American song
DJ! So I can sing along
You have saved me
From going crazy
My heart had grown cold
But you melted me, babe
(Chorus)
I used to rebel against society, society
Deep inside my soul was like a prisoner, a prisoner
I used drugs to numb the pain of loneliness, my suicide
I was trapped but you have set me free
Emotional pollution
Killed the revolution
Our hearts had grown cold
But you melted me, babe
(Chorus)
While the world sings in harmony
To the worst song in history
